I have just - at the end of the working day, yes - figured out why my office is so stuffy today. Now, it is actually one of the few truly summery days we've had so far, but.

The emergency lighting in my office was on. They're big, incandescent bulbs which are on a dimmer switch and generate a lot of heat.

Ergo...

Just turning them off made an almost immediately appreciable difference.

Now going shopping & for dinner with Michelle.
