Context? Have you just read the book and think that it is self-defeating? Perhaps your workplace experiences do not offer evidence to support the theories in the book? Perhaps you simply have read something that disparages her views previously and are only half-recollecting it.

I must admit, I've not read that one (Only "That's not what I meant!") so I'll have to pass.

What did you think of the book? MIL had her first one here. I read it and came away with the feeling that she had a theory and found data to fit it.
