If [livejournal.com profile] greyarea hasn't read this, he should - and the rest of the Phil Collins-lovers from one of my posts a bit back. Made me smile; we are all obviously on the same cosmic wavelength...

Hee - no argument: I loved that single (I actually loved the whole of his first solo album) and then his general Phil Collins-ness poisoned it for me. And as for what you're listening to: WANT!

Will send it to you when I'm home then - can't magic it off the iPod. ;)

The article did tickle me, after I was so terribly scornful and all music-snob about him just a couple of days ago.

I was totally blind-sided by that album: drum(machine)-led, plaintive vocals, and used to soundtrack Tom Cruise having it away on a subway train: what wasn't there to like?

Ah synchronicity!

Although I never really cared much one way or the other... I did listen to Genesis and Peter Gabriel... and even when Phil Collins came along... I actually think I may have a couple of those in my iTunes library...

I do remember (after reading the article) about him dumping his wife via FAX and thought he must be a colossal ass... didn't know he'd already moved on to another...

Musicians... feh! (divorced from 2 of them)

I'm only divorced from one of them - it's take Bon Jovi to persuade me to marry another.

Hahahhaa! OMG! then you totally understand!

::gives you big sympathetic hugs::

My BBF here in town never did marry one but she has plenty of scars from *almost* marrying them... one played with Emmylou Harris (familiar with her?) and was so full of himself that there was hardly any extra air in the room if he was in it!

Gah!

'twasn't Gram himself, was it? ;)

Geez - "almost" marrying a succession of them might actually be worse...

No... long after Mr.Parsons was already ashes to ashes...

And she took him back after he dumped her once... yes, we know that they can be *that* charming...
