Finally, a case that doesn't allow HMRC to run roughshod over the taxpayer - sorry, "customer".

I'm glad that they won, for all the other Husband & Wife companies out there - but I must admit, I don't understand the ruling in full!

Apparently, and obviously, this whole thing has put a huge toll on them both - to the extent, that I wonder whether he'll be ok to work.

But they are both legends for doing this, and taking the risk on behalf of everyone else in that situation.

I did react like that, though. The Revenue's lawyer said they'd just get Gordy to change the law - it sounded like sour grapes to me.
