Not a bad day - an early panic about "hundreds of changes needed" to a piece of my work turned out to be only changes to how the companies were referred to. A simple "find & replace"...
Dragged myself to both the bank & the supermarket after work. Triumphs over agoraphobic tendancies or virulent antisocialness ;) maybe both.
My new cab company are pretty good guys too.
No word back on the old friend's kid as yet.
Chilly but beautiful. I may have to switch to shoes soon, but to still be wearing sandals in mid-October Newfoundland is a bit of an unexpected bonus, really.

wingedelf, I'm still thinking about what my true reaction to the politics is. I guess I should have chosen the salon nearest the flat & Danny's daughter could have done it & I might have heard some political gossip.
