...I'm ever up and dressed at the appropriate hour, I am going to give that wonderful man who works for the council a tip for being so sweet as to cut a path through the plow-drift so I can reach the street without having to go to the corner.
(Part of the sidewalk outside my apartment gets cleared because it's in the downtown commercial core, but giving me street access isn't part of his job, and he's done it after every snowstorm so far this winter. And last winter, he helped me get out twice after my locks were frozen.)
