Here we go...

It's snowing.

Out home, they already have about eight inches of the stuff.

The only person pleased about this is Kyle... although Jeff is plowing people's lanes, so he might manage to squeeze out a smile too.

Winter's first blast

Going to find my flashlight. the lights have been flickering. The power's been off out home for about an hour, and in Lethbridge, where my uncle lives, since just before noon. I guess I'd better make my bed - I may have to retreat to it before long.

ETA: we did lose the power for a hour and a half, but it's back - obviously. Still off out home.
ETA2: everything reset & turned off/on as appropriate. What a pain.
