That's my weekend.
Worked a half-day Saturday, studied almost a half-day today, currently reviewing a bunch of client notes in the boss's inimitable "handwriting" - more like interpreting heiroglyphics than reading.
Angie & her mom are due here any minute, as Patsy has a hospital appointment tomorrow. My breaks from work have involved furiously dashing about trying to make sure the flat looks semi-civilized. I think I succeeded on that one, thankfully. The spare room is tidy and the bed's made, and the bathroom's fit for guests, so... that'll have to do.
My only true relaxation was sitting by the window for 10 minutes with a cigarette, watching one of the Maersk "little blue boats" dock. That was lovely. (And my chat earlier with Ms F, of course - but that was before I started working.)
It's beautiful out, and I haven't ventured through the door.
I hear a car door... better be off to check.
ETA: not them, but there's a boat coming in, so I'm going to sit & watch it, while I can. Later, I'll get back to the comments on my "voices" post. It's quite interesting to hear what you have to say - I'm just surprised so many of you seem not to like your own voices.
