Someone else's diary

Joolz Denby occasionally posts to a blog on her site, and her latest entry had me nearly falling out of the bed laughing. It's here.

I've had a very lazy day, which I oh so much needed.

Winter coat/boots shopping tomorrow - at least, that's the plan. I have no idea what I'm going to find coat-wise, but I think I may go for something like these for boots. I already have a pair of Terra steel-toed hiking boot-style ones, but they're cold.

The parade to the War Memorial was right under my window this morning, and I dashed about madly, unable to locate my camera. There was one poor little old chap behind the main crowd of Legionnaires, looking as if he wasn't quite sure where he was, but bravely trudging along. I cried.

The Mounties' red tunics and black horses looked good though. Or were they Constab?
