I do. I sat through a two-hour meeting that ended pretty much with - "Well, you'll just have to get on and do it, won't you?" As if I didn't know that already. The reason I haven't done these things is that I haven't had time, not that I didn't know what to do. And they call this helping? So, I spent most of the rest of the day being thoroughly disagreeable. I know it isn't big & it isn't clever, but the simple position is that I'm on a short fuse, and I am not being ultra-concerned about what everyone else thinks. I'm tired of thinking about what everyone else thinks.
Arrived home to the letter fromn the hospital confirming my breast clinic appointment. Nice to see some NHS efficiency. Also there were my latest e-bay purchases: an illuminted keyboard - looks OK, we'll see once it gets dark! and three Mac books as I try to continue this course of study & switch. I'm not using the Mac much, I'm tryibng to run this old PC into the ground, and intending to buy a wireless router to be able to surf with the iBook in comfort. I keep wondering whether I've bitten off more than I can chew. Lisa thinks I should give up tax & go teach. Hmmmmm....
Being lazy & having semi-instant pasta for dinner. It's not Kraft dinner, but this is the UK, not Canada.
My Easter cactus is in full bloom, which proves easter was too early this year.
Think the pasta's done... and I have to phone Mom after to wish her a belated Happy Mother's Day.
