Meme time - but this could be useful!

Recommend to me:
1. a movie.
2. a book.
3. a musical artist, song, or album.
4. an LJ user not on my friends list.

Copy and paste with your answers in my comments, then copy and paste the questions in your own journal.

1. Josie and the Pussycats
2. "Beauty" by Sherri S Tepper
3. Sarah McLachlan, "Solace" (or, for something a little more quirky, "Crab Racing" by Simon Lees)
4. Hrrmmm... I'm guessing [livejournal.com profile] elmyra may be good..

2. a book
The Last Boy by Robert H. Lieberman
4. an LJ user not on my friends list.
Funnily enough, I have always thought that I should try and point you and evilshell towards each other...

Movies and music, you're on your own - or, at least, not with me.

Do one for me! Please, Miss Fionna!

You are *so* much more difficult, Rich.

2. Book: Okay, I have a feeling that where our tastes in SF overlap, you'll have already read it, so I'm going to go for history. And for no other reason than I found it fascinating, with plenty of implications for today's political scene, The Gunpowder Plot by Antonia Fraser.

Even now I'm having second thoughts...

4. LJ user: Trickier again, but in a more general sense - I really had thought that Morgaine and Shelley were similar for a while now. Why not have a browse of natural20, gothwalk, and mr_wombat? Or for political thoughts, somebody called pacotelic friended me recently and seems interesting. Or, for weird but somehow interesting hobbies (and I didn't say this), thefounder - not that I'm saying you have weird hobbies, but I like hearing about people very different from me, and maybe you're the same.

Argh! This is too difficult!
