How does boycotting Canadian seafood stop a seal hunt? All I see is hardship to the Canadian seafood industry but no effect on the bedlamers.

As far as inaccuracy in US papers, that is kind of like saying it's going to get dark tonight. It's been doing that for a looooong time.

You are generalizing. Not all Americans are Nouveau-riche assholes making Newfoundlanders lives miserable. For instance: I am not nouveau-riche though I do make your life miserable. See?
