Saturday, then.
Well, I made it to Glasgow this weekend. I am still coughing & spluttering, which is deeply annoying, and still sleeping every chance I get, which is less so. For me, anyway - it doesn't make me very good company. I finished Leo Furey's _The Long Run_ ( an account of a boy growing up in a Catholic orphanage) and it was rather more tender than I expected. You think of a Christian brother's orphanage in Newfoundland, and the Mount Cashel scandal is all that can possibly come to mind.

ladylizbet and misfitina told you what they're cooking, so I will too, and it's steak chili, to be served with basmati rice & garlic bread. It's been simmering for a couple of hours, and smells rather magnificent.
I left the envelope for H's Valentine card home, so he got it sans same. Oops.
