Need a Facebook expert - how do I set privacy settings to limit what a friend can see??? - family are intruding and I have no desire for them to see anything other than need to know...

Go to your profile.

Settings | Privacy Settings | Profile Information

You can set who can and can't see stuff there.

Thanks - I hadn't seen the "customize" option there. That is going to be a pain in the arse, but has to be done. Damn.

It's easier if you use friend lists. I have one called "Limited Profile" that I put random people that I don't really know into, and which can only see very basic information. It doesn't take longer than a few minutes to add people to a friend list and then add that list to the various privacy options.
