Right now
...CBC is showing Barenaked East Coast Music, a showcase of performances from the pubs and clubs of Fredericton during the recent ECMA award week, presented by Stephen Page of the Barenaked Ladies. I don't think I posted about the awards, other than possibly mentioning that not a single Newfoundlander got an award this year.
They just showed Hey Rosetta! and oh. my. god. Do I get more blown away by them, each time I hear more. They simply have that indefinable *something*, and it's getting better and better.
This is from Club One - at the other end of this street, actually.
The ECMA performance was rather more energized, but sadly, I can't find a clip of it.
