Hee! Sounds like fun, though I'd be tempted to char the cask first. And, of course, fill it with bourbon or sherry for a month or two.

There's a place up North that's doing this - although they've taken it a step further and let you distill the spirit yourself. Again, it's a small cask so it matures only a few months and the angels get most of it.
