Yes, indeed - expected to get up to -9 tomorrow morning. I am glad I wore my winter coat today; it is definitely warmer than the open, unlined velvet one. But I feel uncomfortable in it. I walked to the bank after work & nearly froze those bits of me that were sticking out. It feels clean though, this coldness.
I am going home for the weekend; had a phone call this evening. That'll be nice. I will have to try to find some new boots, I think - Sorels or something that can cope with the slush. I have some steel-toed Terras, but I'm not certain if they are waterproof.
Was going to post an embarassing song request for a mix I'm plotting, but it appears I already have the item in question, which will save my blushing.
I need to try to remember what else I need to pick up this weekend; I've lost my list.
Oh, Mom suggests I am a bad influence on people's language coast-to-coast and also that complaining less about the cold weather will make it less noticable.
