Next day

Well, I did go out, and it was a very pleasantly quiet evening at the pub - quite a contrast from Friday night, which was very busy and disintegrated into bedlam. I think.

I've examined the window, and it appears that I thought it was a bottle, but it was at least partly eggs. What was up, I have no idea. I've certainly never had anything to do with the local youth, disaffected or otherwise, and I do hope it was simply a one-off. There was a real problem with the kids where I used to live, and I really would not want to go through that again.

Horrible wet day. I intended going shopping, but don't know if I can be bothered.

Unexpected surprises.

Channel-hopping earlier, I caught the last 5 minutes of a Hitchcock profile, followed by "Suspicion". An afternoon of Cary Grant was not what I should have been doing, but it was most pleasant.

Still horrible out. And despite 18 hours of rain, my window is still a mess.

Not-so-guilty-pleasures

<3 Mp3 blogs. I found some more Jim Reid tracks, from a Janice Long session, apparently, and, without wading through too much Xtian stuff, a few by The Church, including a cover of "Dancing Barefoot". Big smiles.
